My stay at Eugenia De Montijo was a good experience, filled with charm and elegance. The beautifully renovated hotel offered a perfect blend of historic ambiance and modern comfort. While the bartender could improve attention to guest needs, the welcoming staff and quality breakfast made a positive impression. The central location allowed easy access to Toledo's major attractions, contributing to a wonderful getaway.

The Deluxe King Room was spacious and comfortable, featuring high ceilings and lovely décor. However, I did notice that the room's cooling wasn't optimal, prompting me to open a window.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure my comfort. They even upgraded my room without hesitation when I raised a concern about an odor in my initial room.
Location

Situated in the heart of Toledo, the hotel's location was convenient for exploring local attractions. It required some walking, but it was just a couple of minutes to the beautiful Cathedral.

Breakfast was expertly done with a great selection, but I found the bar service a bit lacking on attentiveness during my visit. Nonetheless, the complimentary wine on arrival was a lovely touch.

I had a pleasant stay at Eugenia De Montijo, though it wasn't without its challenges. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Cathedral, and the building itself is stunning. However, the service felt a bit lacking at times, and I faced some issues with my room's size and air conditioning.

Rooms

My room was beautiful but quite small, which made it tough to navigate with luggage. The air conditioning had been set to heat, making the room feel stifling. I really appreciated the staff's efforts to accommodate me, but it wasn't ideal.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly the bartender, Roberto, who made me feel welcomed. However, the bar area often lacked service, and I had to go to the reception for help.

The hotel is situated in a lovely part of Toledo, making it super easy to explore the local sights and dining options, just a 2-minute walk to the Cathedral.

I enjoyed the breakfast, although I felt there could’ve been more variety in terms of breads and cereals. The ambience was nice but a little lacking in energy during breakfast hours.
Facilities

The amenities were decent but a bit limited; there weren't many common areas to relax in. The spa was more focused on massage services rather than a full wellness experience.

My stay at Eugenia De Montijo was charming, with a quaint ambiance that truly captures the historic essence of Toledo. The intimate atmosphere and well-decorated spaces made for a lovely retreat, although accessing the hotel by car was tricky due to narrow streets. Overall, it’s a good spot to explore the city's attractions conveniently. 😊

I booked a larger king bedroom, which was comfortable but felt a bit smaller than expected. The bathroom was spacious, and I appreciated the view over the charming tile rooftops.

The hotel's central location was great for walking to all the main attractions, just blocks from the Cathedral and other historical sites. Definitely a plus for exploring Toledo!

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a range of quality options, though I heard some found it lacking in variety over time. I thoroughly enjoyed the pastries and meats available.

The spa services were a highlight, providing a relaxing atmosphere with private treatments. I loved the circuito hidrotermal—it felt special having the space all to myself.

I only stayed one night at Eugenia De Montijo, but it was such a beautiful hotel and I had a lovely time. The room was comfortable, although it could be kind of dark due to small windows. What really stood out was the spa; it was so relaxing and I had it all to myself! The breakfast looked amazing too, although I didn’t eat there. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want a luxurious stay right in the center of Toledo, but just note that parking can be a hassle.

5.6/10

I had a pleasant stay at Eugenia De Montijo, with its charming decor and friendly staff. However, the room was disappointingly small, which impacted my overall experience. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Toledo's attractions, but I expected better amenities for a five-star hotel.

Rooms

While beautifully decorated, my room was the smallest I've encountered during my trip. I struggled to open my suitcase, leading to a less comfortable stay. The bathroom was nice, but overall, a larger space would have made a difference.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to help with recommendations and ensuring a pleasant experience. However, some of the managerial oversights left me questioning their five-star status.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated just a two-minute walk from the Cathedral, allowing easy access to major attractions. Its central location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the old city of Toledo.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight, with an excellent selection of both warm and cold dishes. The quality of food was superb, though I feel the restaurant could benefit from a broader range of traditional Spanish cuisine.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel’s spa offers a nice selection of treatments, though it's limited to massages without baths. The intimate atmosphere and unique architectural design add to the experience, despite the lack of common spaces.
